Sky Go App Error Code 200

Hi,

Everything working fine until Thursday when I had a message to update my Sky Go Player app.  I have uploaded the latest Sky Go Player app on my MacBook Pro (running El Capitan). I'm using Safari (latest update) as my browser. When I try and play or download a programme on the Sky Go browser I get the message Error Code: 200 in the Sky Go Player screen and a message asking "Please sign in again on the website".  This process then continues on a loop and I cant see any other error code 200 issues on the website.  Any help is much appreciated.

For anyone seeing the error 200 code can you check that your date/time and timezone settings are correct.

Are you using an adblocker at all? If so, can you try turning it off temporarily please?

Having exactly the same issues tonight as you. Downloaded the new app as requested then just keep getting the sign in error.

I am also experiencing this issue ever since i've download the SkyGO desktop app. I'm on Mac OS 10.12 (Sierra)

My timezone settings are all correct but I'm still stuck in this stupid loop!! Can you help or elaborate please?

I have downloaded and installed the sky go app however when I use it, it takes me to the sky go website and then when Iclick on something to watch, it asks me to download the sky go app again. What am I doing wrong?

Date & Time correct, on a Macbook Pro, this error code keeps looping. Turned off Adblock too... Any help much appreciated.

Check you have the latest version of silverlight, which is a plug-in for videos and stuff. If you don't, update it. Whether you updated it or not, check your browser preferences so that you have silverlight "enabled".

 

For Safari, 

 

Safari => Preferences => Security => Plug-in Settings => Choose Silverlight on the left-handside menu => Choose "on" for Sky sports (and as many websites as you want)

@Ritush - that won't help at all . The new Sky Go Player the poster is using doesn't use Silverlight.

Fair enough, I hope the poster has resolved the problem now anyway. This worked for me just now (I probably have the old version), so hopefully it'll help anyone else with the same error 200 issue.

I'm now not getting an error code. It just goes round in a loop saying I need to find something to watch and then when I click on something to watch it says to watch it on the app and then I'm back to website ad inifnitum. Please fix this ASAP. Terrible service!!
