Re: Sky glass broadband update in a first floor flat?
@Mints74 if you have an active internet connection you can use the Sky Glass. Your download speed just needs to be between 25-35 mbps for the Sky Glass to function properly.
Alternatively you can wait until the broadband engineer has visited, as billing for the Sky Glass subscription won't start until you either manually activate it by following the on-screen setup, or 14 days after its been delivered.

@Mints74 The connection to the internet needs to be at least 25-35 Mbps which yours is ... as long as you use an Ethernet cable😉

The Sky Glass TV is arriving 7 days before an engineer is due to come out to do the upgrade from my current Sky Broadband Superfast at 73.2 mb/s.
So presumably to Ultrafast 1 over G.fast. Either should be fine for Glass as long as local wireless conditions are benign (or, as noted above, you used ethernet cable)
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
