Sky gen 2 tv - screen reader coming on

Had the gen 2 tv for a week. The screen reader keeps coming on for no reason while we are watching tv. The settings are set to off. Anyone else having this problem and can anyone help solve it.?

Hi @Jacky+Penfold   Go to Settings > Accessibility and you will find various options which can be toggled on or off.  Unless you need any of the options make sure they are all turned off.

Thank you but all options are off but it still suddenly comes on. Not subtitles large writing across the tv.

@Jacky+Penfold  Try unplugging your Glass gen 2 for a few minutes and then plugging it in again.  It will take a couple of minutes to reboot which will often clear software glitches.

If you are seeing subtitles and you are watching on an app (iPlayer, ITVX 4, 5, etc) then each app has its own subtitle settings which you need to turn off.  Unfortunately each app has a different way of doing this.

If you are indeed watching on an App post back here with details of which app to get some help on turning them off.

Thank you. We were watching football on TNT every time it happened . I have reset the tv and it has stopped for now.🤞 Its not subtitles its large writing all over the tv and everything is set to off. Hopefully its sorted thank you for trying to help .

• I'll try that I've been going to reset the tv to get rid of it,its so annoying . We get subtitles and the screen reader coming on randomly .
