Sky Glass Gen 2 keeps freezing, rebooting, loosing internet connection

Hi

 

My Sky Glass Gen 2 keeps freezing, rebooting, loosing internet connection.

 

Anyone else having this issue? Also when the TV is off the backlight will come on randomly for a few seconds then go off!

 

Has there been a buggy firmware release?

No buggy firmware .....

 

how are you connected to your tv? What speed are you receiving if you go into the Netflix app and run the network check in the settings 

 

try rebooting your tv by fully removing the plug from the socket 

 

also try the same with your router

I have done a factory reset of the TV, still the same issue. It froze and rebooted itself 5 times in 30mins...

 

Changed the network to my office SSID network (different IP and DNS) and the TV has stayed on and working fine.

 

All other kit in my home uses my main router network on ZZoomm, just the Sky Glass TV doesnt like it for some reason, but has been using it fine the past few weeks, so find it a little odd!

@Jubbarelly for the backlight issue, if you turn off the TV's microphone in the settings it should stop doing that. I know this was a known issue a couple of months ago but not sure if its fixed yet and if so which update fixes it ( i just disabled the microphone as. the workaround and haven't bothered re-enabling it to see if it is fixed as if i need to use voice control i just use the remote instead of saying Hello Sky).
