Do you have a Stream puck attached to the TV in your bedroom? Do you get sufficient broadband speed in your bedroom to allow the Stream puck to function? Is the Stream puck attached to the TV via an HDMI cable? Have you tried turning everything off at the wall for a minute then powering back on?
