Re: Hearing aid connection
Thank you for your reply. Agreed in the end we purchased an LG product that did provide the port, the sound quality for all users is not as good as the Sky glass but we had no choice.
As just one of the many people that suffers from a loss of hearing I found the removal of this port by Sky and other manufacturers shows a complete lack of understanding and support for the issue of hearing loss.

Re: Hearing aid connection
There is no port on Sky Glass (I.e. no 'Audio Out' socket) only Bluetooth. Some hearing aids may be able to connect directly via Bluetooth but not many. We have a Sarabec room hearing loop (supplied via British Institute for the Deaf) but they are not Bluetooth and the only solution was to buy a Bluetooth receiver/transmitter (Amazon have quite a few at reasonable cost) that receives the sound from the TV and plugs into the 'audio in' socket on the hearing loop control box. The lack of an 'audio out' socket is a real drawback of Sky Glass TVs and surprising that Sky did not consider the needs of people with hearing loss when designing the sets.
