Added movie to playlist from C4 or C5 then unable to playback

I have added movies, for example, from C4 or C5, but when it comes to playback, it defaults to sky movies which I do not subscribe to - why is this?

@SMH22  This is down to the channels having only "as live" rights and not on demand rights

the two types of rights are sold separately and not combined so whilst channels 4 and 5 may have the live rights sky currently hold the on demand rights which is where playlist pulls the content from

@SMH22 It is because there a defect in the Sky UI ... you should not be able add such content to the playlist if it will not be available on the channel's app🤔

Got absolutely nothing to do with the UI.

Sky aren't responsible for the broadcasting rights each channel has for the shows and films they decide to broadcast and they can't possibly know for all broadcasters and their schedule whether that broadcaster has the on-demand streaming rights for it.

Equally none of these comments are in any way helpful in relation to the original question asked which has already been answered.

The UI should not allow adding content to the Playlist if it can not allow access to that content from that channels services ....which is what's been described .... it is an UI defect😉

Switching from FTA to Subscription content should not be acceptable🤔

How would "the UI" know in advance what was or wasn't going to be available from a 3rd party channels streaming service?
