Upgrade top Watch Affecting a number of channels on Glass & Stream 25-0924

I am getting the same issue trying to watch BBC 1. Which does not make sense as you dont need an upgrade for a channel which is paid by the TV License fees.

I tried to follow the actions described on the screen but kept resetting before I could even follow the same step.

I still managed to watch the channel via the BBC IPlayer and pressing watch live button.

why don't they put a message out on the website. Save us all trying to call?

Yes, no sky news, bbc news, gb news have a message on the screen saying upgrade needed.

Getting upgrade error messages on Sky News, BBC Four, Alba, News and Parliament, GB News, Sky Showcase, Witness, Comedy, Arts, Gold, Mix, MTV, Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet, Quest, True Crime X, U&Yesterday, 4Seven, 5 Action, Great!, CBeebies, Sky Sports NFL and Racing. Other viewers are having trouble with other channels.

Given other viewers' issues, this looks like a fault at Sky - a glitch, bug or hack, or someone has pressed the wrong button. The phone line is congested with long waits, no doubt because of many other irate viewers with similar issues. Sky needs to up its communications and get the fault fixed without further delay.

Me too can't watch ITV1 HD SKY Witness HD that just doesn't load. Come on SKY get it sorted.

Can't access Sky Arts or BBC4 on Sky Glass or Puck. Both asking for upgrade to be able to watch. 

Getting really fed up with this service tbh! Happening far too often now, and trying to get an answer or find out anything is nigh on impossible.

i am also getting this. ITV, Sky Showcase, Sky Witness etc doing it too, but some channels work

We are having this issue with Gold on our Sky Glass - it's happened before and we are on full package so nothing else we can upgrade to except man united tv (no thanks!)

Was getting the same but then I rebooted.  Now I just get a black screen however....I long pressed the select button whilst ITV New is scheduled and selected 'Watch from start' and it played....maybe a bit of a work around until they get it sorted?

Went onto sky witness today and says need to upgrade but had no changes to package. It's my wife's channel and says working Monday
