Are you using an authorised number? I've not come across the need to press a number button to be able to speak to an adviser. You can find the right number from the 'need more help' link at the bottom of this page: https://www.sky.com/help/home
If you're in Ireland, change the flag in the bottom right hand corner before checking the number.
