Does anyone have a recommendation as to the best high quality audio converter for the Sky Glass eARC HDMI to an optical output? This needs to preserve the 5.1 signal, and the ability to control volume with the Sky remote.

It's not possible to control volume on the television set when eARC is in use.
Depending on what the eARc extractor is feeding audio to it might be possible to use the Glass remote IR to control the output device, but that's not itself an eARC function.

Hi TimmyBGood.
Thanks for your response - the control of volume should be dealt with via my audio amp, so it's only important that the Sky Glass remote can talk to it, as it does with Sky Q. The key part of my question though is whether anyone knows of a high quality converter of an eARC 5.1 audio input to an optical output. This is so I can plug the audio output of Sky Glass into my DSP amp and continue to use my own high-end audio equipment.
