Discussion topic: can’t turn off subtitles

Can anyone help

I have turned off subtitles in settings but they are still coming up

there was something about pressing the three dots button but what button do you press twice sorry not technically savey

have tried calling sky but they are closed

@Christina-123 are the subtitles still showing for all shows or is it particular programmes or live channels?

If it's certain shows, are you watching them from a third party app e.g BBC IPlayer?
