I just got a sky glass gen 2 no one mentioned in the process  had to get a sky wall mounting. Tv arrives and I can't fit it to the wall. Tried 5 times to buy one through sky and you cannot buy it separately. I am going to have to send my tv back to sky and pay £25 and the re ordering the sky glass gen 2 with the wall mount. It is a bit of a joke and to be honest I might just get a normal tv that fits in a universal wall mount. Why would you design a tv and make it difficult to wall mount, or in this case.....impossible.

Hi I'm fairly certain the gen 2 is vesa wall mount compliant.... you ll just need to check the weight limits

Sky told me I could only wall mount with  sky wall mount. Either way I will need to send my tv back and re ordering with a wall mount included. [content removed]

No it's definitely VESA compliant. The 1st gen was also VESA compliant

There is no upgrade path @Jayden4455 so no one will contact to do that. You may buy another tv and what you choose to with your other tv is up to you.

I think sky should give people who had first one some kind of deal I had gen 1 glass from the start and think after paying out for that we should get rewarded

Not particularly impressed . Not user friendly . Writing is small and can't be made larger . Sound is better and picture fine . You don't provide a set up with your own techs. Like many elderly or disabled people it's impossible for us to do it ourselves. I don't like the playlist Prefer the old recordings which I could easily delete if needed  much harder to find channels as they are on different numbers .

That's correct, just like every other television manufacturer.  The Sky satellite boxes were always an anomaly in this respect.

Received Glass 2.0 today from having owned a 1.0 prior since launch. Clearly it's better, sound much improved, picture looks great out of box on default settings. No more magnetic speaker grills. Simple stand and effortless setup. Haven't even had to use bass boost for my taste. For those happy with the glass platform it's a worthwhile upgrade when suitable.

Been impressed with mine so far, one issue today, voice commands just suddenly stopped working, did a reset by holding power button and removing plug, had to configure device again like i was setting up from scratch, figured just unplugging it and starting again did the trick.

I've got mine over 4 years, what concerns me is what happens when the warranty is up if you get a problem? Seen of someone who has had 2 Gen 2s and has a 3rd one being delivered due to panel issues.

Sky Glass Gen2 65"
Sky Air 43" in bedroom
LG 65" TV with Puck in spare room.

Broadband with Seethelight as on new build estate that does not support Sky.
