Won't turn on via the remote

Hi, My sky glass tv won't switch on with the remote but will using voice controls. Once the tv is on the remote works fine and even turns the tv off but then won't turn it back on again? If I reboot the tv it works for the first time then goes back again with the issue Any ideas, its getting annoying now!

have you pulled the plug for a few minutes to see if that fixes it

alsinif you press the home button on the remote does the tv turn on then ?

Hi,

Yeah when its been unplugged it works for the first time but then stops after it. 

Nothing other than voice control or the button on the side of the tv works.

It might be worth repairing the remote back to the sky glass 

The remote can be reset and paired again following these steps;

1.   Press and hold 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds.
2.   Press and hold 4 and 6 together for three seconds.
3.   Press and hold 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.
