Wi-Fi extension gone

When we first got Sky Glass we had the normal Hub wifi and also an _EXT in the room where the television is. Just recently I've noticed that this extension cannot be found therefore the wifi connection in the rooms furthest from the hub has deteriorated. Why has this happened?

@Jks123  Glass TV & Pucks don't have wifi mesh built in unlike Sky Q

Therefore if wifi is patchy suggest either ethernet from the TV to the hub, or powerline adapters.

When connecting via ethernet, ensure you have also disabled the Wifi in the Glass/Puck's network settings. Without doing this you may notice it swtiching constantly between Wifi and ethernet and that causing issues.

Sky q used to provide a simple WiFi mesh system between the boxes

on top of the options above you could try a mesh system

@Jks123

The _ext suffix would typically indicate there was a non-Sky range extender device if some kind in use.  A Q television box wouldn't broadcast a signal with that format.
