My Sky Glass TV booms all the time if you turn the volume up.

What do you mean 'booms'. Can you be a bit more specific on what the issue is.

If that's a buzzing at anything past low volume, or some other audio distortion, then it's only addressable by logging the fault with Sky and getting the set swapped out (if still within the two year warranty)

@SarahB7 Sonic. Boom. is a standard feature of Sky Glass TVs🤔

Sonic boom well if it is supposed to sound like that it's terrible.

@SarahB7For others on here to try to help you, you need to explain in as much detail as you can what problem you are experiencing. Simply saying it 'booms' and 'it's terrible' doesn't give anyone who might be able to help or offer you advice, much to go on.

Glass doesn't have 'engineers': problematic hardware is simply swapped out by courier.

Spoken to a nice lady, gone through everything & completely reset TV, played back ok, "BUT" bass boost was on when rattling sound comes on, turn bass boost off no problem!
I though bass boost was supposed to make the sound similar to when I had surround sound on my old setup before this?
without bass boost I'm not impressed with this supposed Dolby sound on here!
nothing wrong with it according to lady. No engineers on contract to come out & check apparently.
thanks for everyone's help on here.
ps I never click links I'm not sure about, that's why I wanted to talk to a human. 😉😁

Only if you choose to believe the particularly bogus advertising. I'd invite you to contemplate the physical difference between a 'real' separate subwoofer and the bass driver which it's possible to fit inside the Glass enclosure: all other things being equal, bass reproduction is fundamentally a function of air displacement.
If you aren't happy with the set you should insist on it being swapped out. Sky is very well aware there's been an issue with distorted bass in some units since launch in October 2021, as this forum demonstrates.

That's correct: unlike the legacy satellite television platforms there's simply no 'engineer' provision for Glass & Stream, which is why Sky is currently cutting field jobs.
