Re: Why can't I watch F1 on demand ? With sky glass

Same here.

No F1 qualifying on my playlist - I went through the playlist management menu and it says unavailable. Is this a streaming rights issue. If so sky really need to sort it out. Because the rest of their content is mediocre at best and does not warrant the charge.

Had to watch it on a ironically more reliable streaming website.

The only reason I get sky sports of for the F1.

Like you I only have it mainly for F1, I believe sky sports contract with F1 ends for the 2026 season. If they want to retain it, they are going to have to much better than this. I'm fortunate enough to pay a premium to

watch the sport I love but if I can't watch it and I'm still paying a premium, then what's the point🤷🏻‍♂️

@Ringomingo I have the same problem with the qualifying missing.  I will watch the highlights on C4 in the morning. I would be interestd to know which streaming service you used to watch it.

I had qualifying "recorded" on the upstairs TV, went downstairs to watch it and it had disappeared on both.

No Canadian GP Qualifying?

So the Canadian GP qualifying was on last night. I came down to watch it this morning only to find FP3 was part recorded and qualifying is nowhere to be seen.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Fair comment @Fothergill1  so unless Sky Glass tv guide is completely different to Sky Q's  with regards to sports

Why would you settle for the highlights on C4

Sky Sports F1 UHD channel 406

Canadian FP3 started 10:15am 1h 15 min UHD

Canadian Quali starts at 11:30am 2h UHD

Apologies I do have Sky Q and can record

But at one point I did have Sky Stream yes I agree it's a tad annoying when you add things to your playlist and they don't materialise.

@best+of+the+best Channel 406 is the same on Glass and the repeats were showing in the EPG last night.  I put all the repeats into my playlist to give me the best chance of capturing the qualifying.  This morning I found that one of the repeats had appeared in my playlist (albeit with a blank icon) so I have been able to watch it in full and did not have to rely on the C4 highlights 😀.

FIngers crossed for the actual race which hopefully I will be able to watch live.

here is the official response from sky as to why Canadian Qualifying is still missing, I've asked why are episodes from weeks ago still missing? Are you going make sure sports fans are made aware of this in the future before taking contracts. Do you realise this is not how the service is advertised? How is this acceptable when F1 Qualifying is 24 hours before the race? Wonder why I've had no reply since🤷🏻‍♂️. I'm not letting this go at the price they charge.

@Ah484 This would appear to simply be an excuse.  ALL the other qualifying sessions have been available within minutes and this includes the 2022 season which was a complete disaster.

D93B9C75-A967-4484-A10A-B18E033653AD.pngso this is the latest response. I assume they mean FP 2, yes there is a wider issue, how can they not know.

Re: Why can't I watch F1 on demand ? With sky glass

So whilst messaging back and forth today, qualifying for Canadian Grandprix got added, 24 hours after the actual race. Sent screen shots etc to sky representative who I have to say seemed to go out of their way to help. After she spoke to the sky viewing team it does seem there has been an issue getting it uploaded. Explained that FP2 was still missing and sent screen shots again, explained it was to late anyhow now and it was not acceptable for any F1 fan subscribing to sky to have practice and qualifying not available after the race. Anyway followed their instructions to access it in a different way. From the 2nd rail down scroll right to sport and select, then scroll down till you get to the sport categories rail and select, scroll right to Formula 1 and select, then there is a catch up rail at the top and would you believe it, practice 2 is there but not in my playlist. So will try this if some F1 is missing from my playlist in future.
