Why can’t I add BBC and ITV series to the play list on Sky Glass?

What error are you seeing?
If you go on to the TV Guide and select 101 and the scroll to a program if you press the Red + button does it add?

It's telling me that the series has been added but it just doesn't work. I live live in Dublin, so I think it is because Sky Glass cannot get access to all BBC or ITV programmes in the Republic of Ireland. If this is the case, it is very unsatisfactory as under my old Sky dish contract, I could record programmes from all channels.

Republic of Ireland
Sky Glass/Sky Stream
BBC channels you have to watch live for majority of broadcasts
There is only a limited amount of content that is made available as on demand
Home Menu
TV Shows
Scroll down with remote to BBC tile
You will see list of content that's available as on demand
Some content is only available for 30 days
It's BBC who decide what content is made available as on demand in Republic of Ireland
When adding to BBC 1/2/3/4 broadcasts to playlist from TV guide if it's not listed in the BBC on demand section you won't have playback
Republic of Ireland
ITV channels are not allowed on SKY EPG due to Virgin Media having broadcast rights to lot of ITV Content
You can add Virgin Media channels to playlist for playback
TV Shows
Scroll down to VirgIn Media tile it's similar to Virgin Media Player app
It can take a few hours or next day for on demand content be made available by Virgin Media
Sky HD+ or Sky Q did not have ITV Channels available to record in Republic of Ireland as they was not on SKY EPG

Satellite signal isn't very good at stopping above national borders.
Streaming is inevitably different, as geofencing can be enforced through IP address.

We are the same, based in Ireland got sky glass and doesnt record programmes like the old sky we used to have. We mainly like to watch bbc programmes so this is a major downgrade in service for a lot more money. Extremely disappointing
