Why are recorded programmes not showing in my playlist

I am trying to view motogp programmes on tntsports and although they are added to the playlist they are not showing up. I have viewed all folders under moto go but nothing of late is recording

Sport can be very hit n miss for loading. Is the program you want available in the app itself? Often and especially with Discovery the link to Sky stream is not made and therefore your Continue Watching won't update.  Obviously if the program isn't available directly in the app then Sky won't update anyway.

Well funny enough it worked fine when the channel was bt sport but now it's tnt sport it doesn't seem to work. This is very frustrating as there is no app and it's the reason I signed up to Sky in the first place.

Thanks for that but that costs another £30/ month subscription and the point is that the Sky subscription should provide me with the recording through the playlist. Looks like I'm once again being let down by a provider having moved from BT  who were extremely poor. Just wish Virgin were in my area. Very disappointed with the Sky box so far.

Have you tried raising a complaint?  When I did, they were able to access the logs on the box and then submit for the developers to investigate further.  Not only does this appear to be a better way to escalate I would imagine it will also register the issues formally?

@welsh_1  It doesn't cost an extra £30pm access is included within the subscription you pay sky you just need to create and activate a discovery plus account see the link below for instructions on how to do this

If you look in your playlist under the section TV shows your program will be there in alphabetical order.

Once it is available to view it will move within Playlist to Most Recent,

however the last show recorded was 3 days ago. This programme is on every day and it didn't record today nor yesterday. 

what shall I do please?

Have you tried rebooting the device by turning it off at the plug for 30 seconds?

Hi m8 did you ever resolve this? I have exactly the same issue Sky seem to have no solution I may as well wait until ITV show it Monday Eve ! Agee BT was available sooner👍

@Jamesjim1 Hi James, things are not perfect but have got somewhat better akthough still a bit hit and miss. It's very strange that motogp programmes tend to be stored under a folder called 'other' whilst other folders appear for 2021/22/23 but no folder for 2024

Sky have never come up with a solution other than pointing you in the direction of discovery+ , which does work but isn't the answer.

Thats typically due to the metadata associate with the particular program.

If no Season/episode, or year metadata tag is associated with the particular show it will appear under Other. Its quite a common issue i've noticed with ITV shows, where they having missing or incorrect metadata on the show once its first uploaded to ITV X that ITV eventually fix a few hours/days later and it then appears correct on the Sky programme page.
