Pretty frustrated that my sky glass keeps purity me back to the Home Screen when I try to play hdmi 1, 2 or 3. I don't even get the message to say no device detected

On a daily basis I go to have a quick 10min play on my xbox, yet skyglass will not select the hdmi input, be it via voice or selecting via the TV itself. I have switched cables, switched ports but the only thing that works is a hard reset by turning it off at the wall for a few minutes.
On another note I have to hard reset twice a week because the remote isn't recognised and needs "pairing" which funny ole thing doesn't work if you do it as per instructions.

That's a pretty heavy load. Does each individual device detect if it's the only one plugged in?

Yep pulled plug on the glass and the WiFi
I've even reset the glass and started again, no joy. Was on hold to sky for over 2 hours and when I got through the kind disconnected. Will try again tomorrow, what a mess

have you tried turning the hdmi cec settings off
have you tried one device plugged in at a time ?
have you tried different hdmi cables ?

I have exactly the same problem, I have turned sky glass off at the plug for 10mins and also did the same for my router but still it will not select hdmi. Has worked fine up until today, it selected hdmi this morning but now it isn't.

I am having the same issue. Only in the last week. Same Device, Same HDMI cable.. worked a week ago.. now suddenly I cannot switch to it. Sky glass just returns to Home screen.
I contacted Sky support.. they went through all refresh options but still no good. This must be a recent issue caused by an update ? Or is a problem only with my TV and can I get it replaced if so?

I am having the same issue, it's extremely frustrating.
My Xbox is on, but when I select the HDMI button it just takes me back to the home screen. It is doing the same thing for the HDMI 2 button.
It first happened on Tuesday night. I tried unplugging the TV for a few minutes, but the problem persisted.
Wednesday night it was then working as normal, but tonight (Thursday) I am having the same issue again.
Can you please let me know if sky are aware of this issue and if they have a fix for it.

I have not spoken to sky myself yet, but my wife contacted them and they were of no use, or offered any solution.
I have done a full reset, which requires logging back in again. At the moment it all seems to be working again, but it's not been a day yet.

@Jamie77777777 Did you get to the bottom of what was happening? I seem to also this issue now, HDMI 1 just flashes then goes back to home screen. I've changed to HDMI 2 but it says make sure device is turned on. Not tried HDMI 3 as it is not a old device, it's an Apple TV.
I've only got that pluged in, nothing else. Also tied the usual turn if off and leave it for a bit.
