Watching gave on sky (England) keeps on pausing is anyone else having the same problem

Keeps freezing sky glass?

Check your broadband - it's usually the cause of such freezing, or rather, the TV having trouble receiving a stable enough signal. Give your Glass a reboot (turn off at the wall for a minute or two) and see if that helps. You'll need to watch the footie by some other means whilst it does that as it's not a particularly speedy operation.

As @Padam_Padam  indicates this could be a local issue to tour setup.
