Just mounted Sky Glass following the instructions. Simple enough, just don't try to find white spacers as they are in the box if the stand hasn't been fitted and there plassic not the metal ones holding the TV together at back.
Anyway instructions said to use these black plastic spacers to hold TV away from wall but noticed all add pictures show the TV flush with the wall. Do I need these spacers as they hold the TV about an inch away from the wall at a slight up tilt and my Mrs doesn't like it. Just wondered whether it was incase of overheating or sound tranfer it needs to be away from wall.
Just off hand pictures could use being a bit bigger on instruction sheet as trying to figure out which way things went were hard to see, but mount is strong enough to hold my weight let alone the heavy TV.

Without the black spacers (or something of equivalent thickness) there's a risk that the lugs on the top edge of the bracket won't engage with the load-bearing recesses on the rear of the the set itself and that's potentially very dangerous. With the spacers in place and the set located correctly there should be a minimal gap between the enclosure and the wall: that's how it's been designed.
