I have a gen 1 sky glass tv but the sky BB is rubbish and cannot get fibre yet, could I use Virgin broadband and WiFi with a sky tv only package? And what would the set up be?

Yes you can. You can use Sky TV with any broadband as long as it's decent. Just connect your Glass to your Virgin router by WiFi or Ethernet and it should all just work.

Re: Virgin BB and sky glass tv
Thank you , yes my BB is so bad Sky actually told me I had the right to exit as they could not get it any better! So have switched to Virgin 350 BB & TV but am finding the TV is not very user friendly so was thinking of switching back to sky for TV and Virgin for BB but was not sure if this was possible hence the question 👍

Re: Virgin BB and sky glass tv
@TS26000 As others have posted you can easily use VM with Glass as long as the wifi connection is fast & strong you shouldn't have any issues.
43" Glass TV & Puck Whole Home
Please note I only provide help on the main forums and not via PM, PM's are switched off.
Samsung 75" 4K TV, Sky Glass Gen 2 55", Sky Stream, VM 1 Gig Broadband, Sony 7.1 AV Receiver, Technisat MultiSat receiver.

Re: Virgin BB and sky glass tv
As above, I know someone who runs their 300Mbps Virgin with Sky Glass and Stream with no issues.
They are in same boat and can only get a lowly 45 Mbps in a busy household via their local Openreach ISPs like Sky or EE. Not an ideal speed, well more borderline for Sky Glass and Stream to run well with.
Sky Stream with two pucks (Former Sky Q and Sky+ customer), Sky Ultrafast + using Sky SR203 hub. Sky Protect kit tester.
