As Glass/Stream 'recordings' are stored in the cloud and all live content is streamed, is Sky collecting our collective viewing habits and metrics for their analysis etc? Is this mentioned in the T&Cs anywhere?
I guess it must be to some extent, to produce the 'Top 10 This Week' tile?

Yes unless you opt out you are agreeing to allow Sky to use and process your data.
You can opt of some bits on the following link https://www.sky.com/mydetails/data-and-personalisation
I myself opted out from day one.
Thanks,
Tim

Quick answer : Yes
This is the only way they can generate personal recommendations. Most major media providers do it and have done so for quite a few years. Oh it will be in T&C's for sure.

So they've bundled analytics, continue watching and profiling into the same opt out. Crafty. I'd opt out of the other two but obviously the continue watching is a useful aspect.

@82bit Yes I made that comment to them when I had a complaint but nothing changed.
That section in my opinion is set like that to dissuade you from opting out but at least it's there. It's possible there is software reason why you have to opt out of it all and not just the two, maybe it's not possible to separate the data.
Thanks,
