Varying sound levels on TNT sports

I've noticed, when watching football on the TNT channel, that the sound levels vary continuously, in a sinusoidal fashion. One minute the sound is high, then over a period of time it reduces to a low level, before rising again. I leave the volume, set with the remote, alone. Has anyone else noticed this happening? I have raised this on a BT site, and they suggested asking on here.

Sky Glass 43” stand mount, Wi-fi, 1 puck, ethernet from Bt disc.

Never experienced it on Sky channels only TNT.
