Update on faulty tv with on off button and speech problem having to keep turning tv over to rectify

Spoke with sky yesterday and was told they know about the speech issue and can't say when it will be fixed.

regarding the on / off button on the tv not working I was told it's not faulty because it doesn't reflect the tv just switch off at the wall.

🤬🤬

I would not be happy if I was told this.

You are spending hundreds of pounds on this TV. If the on/off button is not functioning and it is still under warranty then Sky should absolutely replace it.

@Sonia14 I agree with @Ellie_TV if your Glass has a problem with the on/off button then Sky need to repair or replace the TV under warranty.

The problem with the Lip Sync has been under investigation for a while now and will obviously be fixed by a software update when a solution is found.  I have noticed it on occasions but a quick flip to another channel resolves it so it doesn't worry me.  TBH I have not seen the issue in weeks but I know that is not the case for many others

It's so annoying and they can't give a time scale on this problem and for the faulty tv button they are saying you don't need an on / off button use the remote

@Sonia14  Good luck, I hope the ombudsman helps you get a satisfactory outcome.

Have you also considered making a formal complaint to Sky?  It can be done at this LINK (you will need to sign into your MySky account).

Sky sticking to this excuse is outrageous.  It's similar to having a car that won't start with a turn of the key and being told it's not a problem as you could push start it.

Update on the trouble with glass tv

Just to let everyone know of the update on the problems I was having with sky...

took to cisas and won the case with sky but unfortunately sky thinks it's ok to keep helping themselves to my money and saying they know nothing about the case....

I am so disappointed in sky they treated me with no respect..

spoke with sky this morning to sort the payment out what they have taken out this morning..

told she would ring me back at 10am but unfortunately no call back plus couldn't speak with me because it's gone to deadlock..

But didn't know anything about my case... nothing has been cancelled yet they have the tv back...
