I have the same issues with my picture pixelating like your pics and I have had the tv replaced once already and still have the same problem
I wish I stayed with Sky Q instead

Just got the 65" today it's horrible compared to my LG OLED. I've seen better picture quality on a 50 year old Tv.
A £200 tv from Asda gives you better picture quality. To say it's washy and looks dead is an understatement.
I've requested a return within 6 hours of receiving it.
ive been a Sky customer over 25 years after today and the so called customer service I've had my fill.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Andrew+Oldham Totally agree about the Glass TV but a QLED will never be as good as an OLED. I had the 55" for 18 months before I sold it and replaced it with a new Samsung TV, Samsung soundbar and a Stream puck. The difference is amazing.
If you have only just got the Glass TV I assume you are still within your 31 day cooling off period so you should be able to cancel Glass without any penalty giving you the opportunity to purchase a Smart TV and subscribe to Stream. It's worth thinking about.

So I noticed you have your sky glass hooked up via ethernet. I know people say that's the preferred method due to there being less interference but for me I couldn't watch anything I'm UHD without it buffering and everything else looked fuzzy and out of focus when shows and movies were actually loading. The ethernet port is only rated for 100Mb/s so I switch to WiFi and I have had a clear picture with no problem since doing so. My router is WiFi 6 compatible like sky glass so it's been super stable without connection issues either. @TimmyBGood

It shouldn't matter. UHD doesn't need Wifi 6. I had no issues with buffering on Wifi or Ethernet. 100 Mbps is perfectly fine for UHD. The issue I had was related to how poor the panel in the Sky Glass TV is compared with other TVs on the market incuding my old Samsung LED.
I ended up switching to Sky Stream and getting a TCL 55C845K 55" which smokes the Sky Glass picture quality in every department.

Just binned my 55" so many problems and picture is poor , picked up a hisense mini led half the cost and far superior to glass .
i wouldnt be suprised if sky ended up in trouble in the near future due to the amount of people that have purchased the glass tv and are so disatified with it .

I'm having the identical issue on the 65" Skyglass TV I have a much better picture quality and clearness on my older LG UHD 65" TV ! The Skyglass TV Looks like some kind of white mist over the whole picture. I phoned Sky to complain and explained the exact same issue i was having only to be told by them that It must be the TV picture settings as they had no other complaints about the picture quality !
I find that very hard to believe when it's all i seem to read now since buying it.
Now apparently it's too late to return despite my complaint about the issue upon first arriving and installing ! and all because I was informed by sky to keep trying different settings in the picture menu as it's should be crystal clear with it been a 4k tv !?
Im a diamond customer with sky and i feel as though i've been completely scammed with the price of this TV
i'm not a happy customer at all !

The shortcomings of the panel and backlight specified in Glass have been documented since the first reviews back in late 2021, and extensively in this forum. However it's important to note that outside the cooling off period you don't have a right to cancel just because the television is disappointing: it actually has to be faulty.
Personally I'd suggest phoning back and insisting on a replacement being sent out: at least that way you might establish what can reasonably be expected from what was always a not particularly distinguished set.

When I complained I was outside the cool off period. I was pushing for a full refund but they insisted on sending a replacement TV. But rhe agent told me that if it was bad again I could call back within 14 days and get a refund. The new TV arrived and was worse so I called immediately and they approved a full refund.
i then bought an LG and got the stream box and it really good.

@David07 Glad to see it worked out for you in the end. I think the LG and stream is a much better setup than Glass. Just add a soundbar at a later stage if necessary.

@David07 That's a nice bit of kit.

Glass pic quality out of the box is pants. But it can be improved significantly with a few tweaks. I followed the instructions to the letter here to get the best out of the TV, then tweaked it a little more to suit my taste. The difference is chalk and cheese.

It's terrible full stop. I tried all the settings tweaks that I found on here and it still looked terrible compared with my old Samsung LED TV. The only true solution is to get a decent TV at a better price than glass and get sky stream instead.

I am 2 years in with my 65 inch. When we borght it you could not just get the puck you had to have the glass tv as part of the package. I was on sky Q with my Samsung tv. They promised me that I would have all the channels. That was a lie. Lost about half. Kept thinking they would increase in time never had. It turns its self of randomly. Goes though millions of batteries to the point we have had to change the remote settings or it would run out in. Day. Sometimes when it turns off can't get it back on straight away. And tonight some channels not working not the first time. And the customer service is rubbish. Read on here people managing to get streaming only. But I am still paying for this damn tv. What advise?
