@ROBNHOMEUK Many people have done factory resets including myself with no issues at all.  However when it does go wrong and won't re-link to your account it is not straightforward to resolve and has to be done by Sky.  The issues seem to be associated with Glass/Stream and not the satellite platforms..

 

The forum is littered with post where the individual has had issues after a factory reset.
