Hi @Philshutt

Not a lot of information to go off there! Sky glass will display a warning on screen every 4 hours or 1 hour If motion is enabled. If the remote isnt lifted it will turn off. This is by design to meet power consumption regulations.

If this isn't the issue you are seeing please can you describe the issue in more detail. Please remember we are fellow subscribers and have no idea what your setup is unless you tell us.

Re: TV keeps randomly turning off.

We get Jo warning, it just goes off , full black screen and then comes back on a few seconds later. There is no warning like it usually does when u need to pick up remote or had on same channel for 4 hours.  Very strange when it comes back.on it's sa.e channel just further into programme/advert.

Re: TV keeps randomly turning off

We have the power saving option enabled and get the message to move the remote. However, there have been two occasions recently when the tv just switched off, with no message displayed. When I switch back on and navigate to the program it always takes me to a point, in time, just before switch off. This is regardless of watching a live program or streamed. It's mildly inconvenient.

Hi @Philshutt

Is this only happening during adverts? There seems to be a problem with Sky adsmart at the moment. This is where Sky insert customised advertising in the adbreak based on your location or interests etc.

I have noticed this where the screen goes black and then I am dumped into the middle of an ad in the live broadcast. Slightly annoying but not the end of the world unless it's in crouching on your program ?

Re: TV keeps randomly turning off

This is the latest bug to hit my Glass.

With no warning whatsoever the screen goes black, and the sound goes off, and the picture and sound come back a few seconds later. Has happened twice in the last couple of hours and the last time was during the final few meters  of the men's 1500 meters final from Paris. Missed that.

The set is needing rebooting more often now. At least once a day.

Netflix speed test shows 261 to the tv so it's not a speed issue. And I believe the wifi to be stable.

Re: TV keeps randomly turning off

@JWestLondon this is what seems to be happening. Getting more frequent but still annoying.  Not sure what or why it's doing this.
