TV glass

Hi bought a sky glass tv from someone now the challenge is I can't subscribe to watch any films since the seller is saying he doesn't have an account with sky, I have called sky but they can't help unless I have the account from the seller .anyone with idea please kindly help

What the previous owner has or had is irrelevant, because that doesn't transfer.  It sounds like the advice from Sky was inappropriate.
