As am I. It's how I've always read it.

The Discovery plus will allow access to all customers who have ever correct privileges on their accounts to watch TNT sports. You will not have to subscribe through sky to access the TNT channels on Discovery plus

Glad I stumbled on this discussion. You'd think somebody might tell Sky's call centre support teams about this issue with TNT Sports, cos I've phoned several times about not being able to use TNT on the D + app and nobody I spoke to knows the app is not quite ready yet!

It definitely still is not working on Sky as I have tried now. This is a massive delay and I can only hope that Sky get this Discovery+ app working correctly with TNT Sports as soon as possible.
I signed up for an EE contract for the sole reason it came with TNT Sports included, and expected it to be working on my Sky Stream box but am still waiting.
There are UEFA Champions Leagues games coming up soon so I would expect the app will be working properly before then, or I will be very disappointed.
That September 4th date was an anticlimax then

@RossyRossy @it's common for apps updates to delayed. It is coming. I spoke to discovery plus team last week, who said that there have been some technical issues. It's due imminently. Please appreciate that both from Sky and Warner Bros Discovery - that it's important the app is updated correctly, before it's rolled out. Do you not have any of mechansim to watch it ? Plenty of cheap options such as Amazon fire stick, chrome cast

@RossyRossy it's worth noting that sky has never confirmed a launch date, any dates posted have come from third parties

@SKY1992bf To be fair though. Although Sky haven't provided a date. There was an official press release that was submitted by discovery back in July that states it will be available soon on sky. This would have been cleared with sky prior to release,

Premium plan coming soon to Sky! Sky TV customers who subscribe to TNT Sports will soon get access to the Premium plan on discovery+ and enjoy TNT Sports via the discovery+ app on Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q. Please check back here for updates.

All I'm seeing still is repeated confirmation that Sky TV customers with TNT Sports through Sky will get access to Discovery+ premium via Sky Q, Glass and Stream, but others will not.

@stereohaven I don't read it as that - where does it say that it only applies to TNT customers who access TNT sport through sky?
If you think about is rationally - how will this technically be possible? The Discovery plus app currently works for me with my log in through EE.
Look at the Disney plus app as another example - it works whether you subscribe through sky or not, as does every other app, why are you so adimnet that it will be different for TNT Sports within Discovery plus on Sky ?

@Jason+Golding whilst the above may have had clearance, the mentioning of any specific dates within email replies from discovery plus advisors (see your own post (post 36 as an example)) most probably would not not have received clearance from sky

I read it as they are saying that those sky subscribers who subscribe to TNT Sports and currently only get the basic Discovery plus with entertainment will get Discovery plus premium - this is a different matter as to whether Sky customers who have the relevant permissions through say BT, EE or Discovery plus directly wont be able access TNT Sports on Discovery plus - they will

Time will tell I guess until then we just wait

@Deggy @Exactly. Technically however I don't see how this will be possible and could also be argued that it's discriminatory and OFCOM may have an interest if it isn't allowed IMHO
