Subtitles on Sky program

I can get subtitles on non Sky programmes but not on Sky programmes, I'm poor of hearing so this causes me problems

What content specifically are you not get subtitles on?

Sky Glass does not show subtitles on any Sky channels i.e Sky Max, Sky History etc but I can get subtitles on ITV, BBC etc
