Sport seems to be the worst. But ours does it on BBC a lot as well. 

Strangely enough my new phone with sky also gains a 5 second delay when talking to people for longer than 2-3 minutes. 

And even stranger, can't get hold of sky any sense to talk to them. 

Quite happy to take the best part of £185 a month from me for phone and tv, pretty slow to sort anything out unless their 3rd party representatives are constantly ringing you to take out insurance.

Worst company to deal with, but they know they have the monopoly and the rights.

Firmware update, switching audio settings has made no difference. I am very bored of the temp solution of switching to a different channel and back again.

The software update has not improved the issue the sound sync issue still remains.

I have recently converted to sky glass, the lip sync issue is annoying and spoiling my enjoyment of the new TV. Given how much the TV costs and the monthy cost of the services, i am seriously thinking of ditching it completely. I wonder if this issue is hardware related, in which case i will be requiring a new TV as no amount of software tweaking is going to sort this out . The length of time it is taking indicates to me that this is not a simple problem .Any comments SKY.

It is now March and we are still experiencing lip sync problems. When is this going to be solved

If that really requires an answer, it's because Sky haven't yet implemented a full fix for it.....

Absolutely a joke that no fix has been provided after all this time.

 

Sky are happy to take the money but not forthcoming on if or when a proper fix would be provided.

Sky sports issues

Sky sports always seems to get out of sync with picture and sound. Formula 1 is starting soon and don't want to experience same issues as last time where it keeps jumping and can't watch the race peacefully. Any solutions?

Sound sync is a current current issue for some users (see mega thread) and under investigation and seems to mostly happen following an ad break 

 

the only current fix is to change channel and back quickly
