I think I only notice it on BBC or Sky Sports. But then I watch them the vast majority of the time.

I've only had Sky Glass for less than a week and the speech sync issue is already very frustrating. The issue needs to be resolved urgently or I will be expecting a refund and going back to Sky Q

I'm guessing Sky aren't deliberately dragging their feet with resolving this.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Mark39 You have said what I have been thinking for a while. People seem to thing that either Sky are not interested in doing anything about the issue or they think Sky can just snap their fingers and hey presto they have a solution.
If I'm perfectly honest I am getting to the stage where I am more fed up with reading the posts than I with the actual problems.

Sound sync is randomly terrible on Sky Stream. And out of the blue. Starting a new app helps, as some intelligent soul above suggests, turning it on and off helps. But temporarily.
I have the latest update .QS034.023.02
My advice is avoid Stream and Glass at all costs. Certainly until they sort out all the glitches

Well I've not had the service long but have also been waiting 12 months for the talk shield app to be fixed so I have a different opinion. From what I can see from this forum the speech sync issue has been going on for a long time as well so perhaps you can tell me how to enjoy a service that is not cheap but has a longstanding oroblem

Why are you asking me?

Wonder if the Sky Glass 2 TV has same issue.

Thought I was replying to someone else!

Given the scale of this issue Sky should email / letter every Sky Glass customer a survey and then publish results as well as using it to get a fix. I'd expect a company with Sky's resources to get a quick fix on this but it's been months!

I'm getting absolutely fed up with the out of sync sound with sky glass for months on end. I phoned them yet again yesterday and I was told for the umpteenth time that it is an issue that will be looked into. This is getting beyond a joke now. They're just so blasé about it but we all pay a ridiculous amount of money for this tv service. Just thought I'd let you all know that they're aware of the problem that has been doing my nut and I'm sure all of yours for god knows how long. Maybe one day it'll be sorted but sorry people, looks like it will be ongoing until well, how long is a piece of string! Sort it out sky!!

Thought this problem had been sorted as Sky Glass and pucks have been okay.
But guess what, watching Sunday football, at full time at the Liverpool game and just noticed that the voices are now out of sync went it went back to the studio!
And before one of the "paid" super users comments, we pay enough for a service that at present we are NOT getting.
it would seem, on the face of it, that Sky technical staff are incapable of providing a remedy to this months old problem.

Must be so hard for you.

I am watching ITV and the lip sync is totally out, this has been happening for a couple of weeks now
