Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @Karlfm I see your post has been moved to this thread. If you read this thread you will find that Sky are aware of the issue but the update they released a couple of weeks ago which they thought would fix the issue unfortunately did not do so. The lip sync has been a problem for some time so hopefully they will find a solution soon.
A temporary solution when the lip sync problem occurs is to flip to another channel and back again. This seems to get it back in sync for a while but it will most probably happen again.

Does anyone know what time the big launch is today? If it is Sky Glass 2, and there's no lip sync issues, maybe they'll replace all the original TVs for customers that are still having issues (only joking)!!!!!!!

We also still have the problem. Can anyone confirm the latest software is QS034.023.04 which we have.
Currently using the irritating channel up/down solution.

Yes that is the correct update for Glass

The update was intended to fix the lip sync problems but as widely reported it unfortunately didn't have the desired effect. We have to wait for Sky to come up with another solution. I appear to be fairly lucky as although I get lip sync problems it idoesn't seem to be as prevalent as some other people are reporting. At least the channel flip get is back in sync again.

WOW Sky Glass 2, does that mean twice as many issues 🤪, hope they plan to swap out all Glass V1 with the "minority" of users with lip sync issues won't cost too much as not that big an issue!!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@r4ya7df9n1y Lip Sync problems have been prevalent on Glass & stream for quite a while and Sky are endeavouring to resolve it. A couple of weeks ago they released a small update which they hoped would fix the problem but unfortunately this was not the case. It's a waiting game for them to find a solution.
A quick temporary fix is to simply flip to another channel and back again and this usually get it back in sync again (until the next time). This works on my system every time.

I phoned Sky this morning and was told that the lip sync issue will be fixed. No timeline though! The problems with my glass TV randomly switching off and other problems with apps dropping out cannot be fixed and I can't get out of my contract. I will be paying monthly for the TV until 2027. Sky don't seem to be bothered about their customers 😡

Thanks for replying hope they get it sorted soon meanwhile i'll give the changing channel ago.

Shouldn't have to keep changing channels

If it's the only way to resolve it until Sky pull their fingers out and sort it then it's got to be done. Hope it's not much longer before it's sorted.

@Mrsjulie Of course you shouldn't have to flip the channels but the alternative is to continue watching with the out of sync picture and sound until Sky find a solution. The choice is yours 👍
