Does anybody know if the lip sync issues are more prevalent to the tvs rather than stream? I paid outright for a glass tv back in October 2021 (due to us not being able to have a dish). Due to issues with it freezing and screen going blank, that one was collected and we received another one. Up until October 2024 which was 3 years since purchasing it, we occasionally had the same issues with the above but as it was only happening every now and then we just put up with it (stupidly)!
Fast forward another month to November for the real nightmare to begin with the lip sync issues (which since receiving the update last week has made it a lot worse).
The point I'm trying to make is maybe there has always been issues with the tvs since they were launched and now this lip sync problem is yet another issue that has appeared to cause major problems? It would be interesting to know how many stream customers have been affected

Hi ,
Installed a new sky glass on Sunday after the old one developed a fault, so it is up to date with everything, but, we are still seeing that on BBC 1 we are still having speech out of sink with picture. Not all the time, only happenned twice sine we started using it, and if we just go up a channel and back and it sorts it out, but it is annoying.
No point going to the settings to change the timing as it is difficult to know how much to change the settings, and that would change across all channels. Seems to only happen on BBC1.
Is there anything we can do to stop this irritation?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@PAULAB3 It's not a fix but when mine goes out of Sync I simply flip to another channel and back again and it has always got it back in sync. I find the issue mainly occurs when watching BBC1 but it also did it on ITV the other evening. I am aware many others have a problem when watching sport.
Sky have been working on a fix for some time and thought they had found a solution. They released an update over the last couple of weeks but unfortunately the lip sync issue still persists.

Why don't they stop issuing new tvs until the problem has been sorted?? This will only lead to more unhappy customers!!

I suspect it's only a minority which has the issue.

Realistically, you have no way of knowing, any more than I do. Only Sky would know.

Read the amount of complaints,

@Mark39 Not for the first time on this thread you have said that you think this issue is only affecting a minority, but as soon as someone disagrees with you you say "you have no way of knowing, any more than I do".
By virtue of that admission that YOU do not know, you have no way of knowing its a minority, yet you keep repeating it.
The fact there's "only" 26 pages of this particualar thread full of frustrated customers does not in anyway mean we are the only ones affected. What I do know is the overwelming majority of Sky Glass customers don't even know this forum exists, never mind if they have registered to use it.

Please dont post any more, your defence of Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky in general is starting to wear a bit thin. If you have no issues, then just dont post and if you think you have a right as a Superuser to reply, then being one only means you have far too much time on your hands in posting specious drivel

Exactly.
we are all paying for a service that is broken to a point that nobody knows how to fix it.
I shouldn't have to " switch channels up or down " to correct it.
I shouldn't have to " reboot the tv " to correct it.
I shouldn't have to " go to my settings and play with the audio settings "
fix it or lose customers.

After some investigation I have found that there is an ombudsman that you can refer your complaint onto regarding sky glass/TV. I have sent an email this morning to cisas and they have come back asking me to register my complaint through an online system, some criteria attached like complaint 8 weeks or longer but you should check it out people we are getting nowhere wi
