Has anyone  noticed  that the sky glass  gen 2 tv has not got the side speakers , like the gen 1 ? On the bottom  at the side ?

Those are just apertures, not side-firing drivers. It's a design detail rather than a change in specification: Gen 2 has one additional speaker (a second subwoofer)

Sky Glass:

3x outwards-firing (front-facing left/right/centre), 1x front-facing subwoofer, 2x upwards-firing

Sky Glass Gen 2:

3x outwards-firing (front-facing left/right/centre), 2x front-facing subwoofers, 2x upwards-firing

See this video from 2:40 onwards.

It was the Sky Soundbox which had side (plus rear and angled) speakers: for all the rather overblown claims about Glass audio it's not even close to that older hardware.
