Something is not working

Why does some channels not fast forward or rewind or pause. Also the well this is embarrassing message is very annoying. Whats wrong with the tv?

Sky Glass is very sensitive to broadband network speed fluctuations. How are you connected? WiFi or ethernet? Ethernet will usually offer a more stable connection (with WiFi turned off in the network settings) but you need a decent connection in the first place. 

What speed of broadband are you paying for? What speed are you receiving? 

To find out, open the Netlfix app on your Glass TV, navigate to the get help menu and run a network check. Ideally you need upwards of 30Mbps for any sort of stability. 

In terms of fast forwarding, you can't fast forward live channels because then you'd be fast forwarding into the future and the future hasn't happened yet.
