My sky glass update completes to 100% (or appears to) however then comes up with an error message saying it failed. Troubleshooting online help pages hasn't helped, so have tried turning the TV off and on again but the same thing happens each time.

Is this a new set up? Apart from initial set up I've never witnessed an upgrade. They've always occurred overnight and only by looking in settings do I know one has come through.

Not a new set up at all! Haven't witnessed any updates either until this one which has been a bit of an issue unfortunately.
In terms of the other reply - ethernet cable isnt a viable option with the router on a different floor to the TV... WiFi connectivity hasn't been an issue before & so would hope its not the issue now.
