Presumably a large proportion of Glass users have taken up Whole Home over the past three years: it's just a subscription add-on to permit Stream puck use alongside a Glass television set, nothing more.

Important to note that by itself it absolutely does not 'cover the whole home' (as in supply every TV set with Sky content) : it's an unfortunate choice of marketing name.  A Stream puck must be ordered (and a fee paid) for every television.

Sky 'Whole Home' also does nothing to provide WiFi coverage to support all those pucks: it's entirely unrelated to BT Whole Home which is their wireless mesh product.

'How you find it' is entirely dependent on an individual customer's broadband network, of which none are identical. The experience varies.

Sky Stream pucks require constant fast and stable broadband in order to function. The more you have of them with a Whole Home subscription, the more bandwidth they will consume.

If you have a relatively slow or a high traffic network in your home, coupled with a large property and only the option of using WiFi then you would most likely find it to be poor.

If you have a small home, full fibre broadband of say, 500Mbps with a finely tuned WiFi mesh system and only use two or three pucks, then you may well have a flawless experience.

The only real way to find out if Sky Stream/Glass & Whole Home will work in your home, whether it be with a single puck or multiple pucks and Glass TV's is to try it.

Expensive 👀

Why pay an additional subscription to watch the same content on other TV's around the home when most apps provide multi viewing in their subscription offers, it's like paying twice to have the privilege of another puck. There are options available that cost nothing 🤔

Shop around. For an all in one can't be bothered solution Sky does it all but you pay for it handsomely.
