Sky still messaging me why

I sent back the sky euipment and sky still contacting why I cancelled the direct debit erm because I no longer need it I sold my house and don't live at the property no more I had no contract so what's the problem

You'll need to ring Sky and check whether you owe them anything or they owe you something. Cancelling a direct debit too early can trigger account issues which can affect your credit record.

I will contact them but was with them for a long time and no contract said when I signed cancel anytime

If you have/had a Sky TV subscription, you had a contract. It might have been a long contract or a rolling monthly contract, but a contract nevertheless and would have required a 31 day cancellation notice.

Well I'm paying no more it was for my dad and he has passed away and I have sold the house

@Clarelouise I presume you notified Sky as advised here of your father's passing?

No i didn't because the account was in my name he had dementia and cancer so thought to be best in my name so he had good tv channels so he could watch his favourite channels I also had virgin broadband so I could cameras in his living room and kitchen so I knew he was safe in his home if  I nipped out and thank you he was very poorly bless him no longer in pain now.  Virgin Internet has been easy to cancel with them I was definitely in a contract with them just got to pay a cancellation fee £20 which was nearly ended in July
