Am I going crazy or does there seem to be no sky recordings via the cloud anymore. For example if you add a show to playlist it takes you to BBC iPlayer or all 4. I could have sworn it never used to do this?

Channel 4 may have allowed it but BBC would not have allowed it🤔

Its similar for ITV with the shows taking you to ITV X however i have on occassion seen that an ITV show has been cloud recorded rather than linked to ITV X (even though the episode is on ITV X).

As per the other responses BBC has never allowed cloud recording. None of the PSBs do with th exception of Channel 5. It's always been like this as far as I can remember. (Had Glass over 3 years)...

C4 had always been hit & miss for me, some of the shows are via the app whilst others play via Sky's cloud. To date, I've not been able to find what causes it. Using Gogglebox as an example, some of the recording play via Sky's cloud and others open in the app. Thought it was date/showing related but wasn't the case.
That last episode of Ellis on C5 also played via Sky's cloud whilst the first two via the app.
