When watching Sky series on Sky Stream sometimes after a mid programme ad break playback will freeze. I have to switch to live Tv then resume the streamed programme to carry on. Any ideas? Seems a bug to me.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@papamolio some people have reported this issue which appears to be connected with the way Sky insert targetted ads into the stream. You can opt out of this by changing your data permissions in the My Sky app to stop targetted TV ads which stopped tge occasional stalls for me.
This change doesnt stop the personalised recommedations etc which opting out of all shared data appears to do as the playlist and continue watching require some data sharing.

I opted out of targeted ads, and thought it had fixed it. Unfortunately it hasn't, it's pretty annoying.

This has just started happening to me today, only on Sky on demand programs during the ads. I found doing a little 2 second rewind then fastforward through the ad break a little faster than 'Homescreening it' but still annoying.

Mine is worse, when this happens it forgets I have a wired connection and tells me there is no WiFi connection, have to wait a few minutes for it to fix itself. Stream is more expensive that a dish and far inferior in my opinion, if I hadn't just had my house rendered I would get the dish back

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Andy+321 Although you are using an Ethernet connection you may have left the WiFi option turned on in settings. If so Glass will try to default to WiFi.
To check this go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings and turn OFF WiFi. Hopefully that will resolve your issue.
