Sky glass wall mount

Hi. Waiting of my 55 inch glass coming. Forgot to order the sky wall mount but wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a wall mount to,use with this tv. I'll be honest, I don't really understand the VESA thing. Or should I contact Sky to add wall mount? Thx for reading appreciate responses.

In this context it's the Video Electronics Standards Association scheme defining the spacing of load-bearing mount points on television panels.

Re: Sky glass wall mount

Hi @Streaming1

Currently you can't add the Sky official mount without cancelling your order and starting again.

VESA is an industry standard wall mounting system. Basically it makes sure that the holes on the TV matches with holes on the mount so you can screw them in safely.

So you can buy a normal VESA mount for a 55" TV, including from shops like Currys or Argos, and then follow the Sky Guide to mount it.

Sky Glass is quite a heavy TV so make sure the mount you choose can carry the weight (19.2kg) and that it's safely added to the wall and it can also secure that weight. Ideally a professional would install it.
