Sky glass tv crackling
Our sky glass tv sound crackles on every channel, we've done everything recommended to stop this but still it continues! Surely, even out of warranty it should be replaced, It's a monthly subscription!? Especially with it being a known fault. I've been with sky for years

@Lu78 It's not a known fault if it was it would be reported en-mas.
If it's out of warranty then you would need to pay for any repairs, your monthly TV subs or credit repayments are not insurance policies against defects.

You purchased the Glass with a loan so the TV is owned by you from the outset. Even if you are out of warranty and have remaining loan payments, you have to clear the loan.
I would suggest that you contact Sky to see if they are willing to do anything by way of subsidizing repair costs.

Unfortunately it's not unknown with the Gen 1: ours does it too and it's been posted many times. One suspicion is it's actually a side-effect of adhesive tape used to secure speaker components.
