Sky glass takes ages to turn on

I'm finding over the last six months that my sky glass takes ages to turn from standby on most mornings. It can take five minutes to turn on some days, but other days it turns straight on. 

It isn't the remote as the button on the side won't turn it on either. 

I quite often have to turn it off at the wall and turn it back on again, which is very annoying when I have childproof socket covers! 

Is there any way to resolve this? Or is my TV just faulty?

Hi @Charchar1 

Go into Settings > startup and standby > turn Networked standby mode ON and turn Overnight power saving OFF.

And see if this makes any difference.

I've done this, so I'll see what happens over the next few days. Hopefully this sorts it.

My Sky Glass is also taking approximately 5 mins to start on first use of the day...every day! So frustrating. Tried the 'fix' above but it didn't make the slightest difference.
