Sky glass TV keeps going black and then comes back after a circular swirl appears and sometimes it switches itself off so I have to unplug and plug back in to get tv to work

Thank you for responding. I haven't noticed if network has been disrupted. Would that turn the tv off completely as well? When this happens I have to unplug at the wall and plug back in. Then I get the Sky logo and then it takes a few mins to recover. Next time I'll check the box to see if I have all green lights. I have Sky broadband too.

I get this also all the time. I just assumed it's the software with a resource leak. I'm wired into a managed lease line internet so very unlikely to have network drops. But I have the box either just go blank, or reboot by itself about once or twice a day. It's also not unusual for me to have to power off altogether to get it to turn back on. Sometimes it will have gone back to 1080p after this and may (or may not) let me set it back to 4k. Really hoping for a software update.
