My sky glass picture has a red tint to it.. not the picture itself, but the (black) borders on the top and bottom when watching a film are noticeably red-ish in colour... especially when viewing from an angle
Is this normal, or have I got a faulty tv?

This can be a side effect of the VA LCD panel technology used in Sky Glass. When viewing off-axis, to either side, colours start to wash out and odd tints can become more visible.
It can affect all VA panel TVs, not just Glass, to varying degrees. Some are better than others. If it seems excessive to you then take pictures & get in touch with Sky. They may replace your TV if they agree it looks abnormal.
If you want perfect black bars from all angles when watching movies then you'll need to get an OLED TV.

I have the same problem with my 65" Sky Glass.
It's actually a red ghosting on the contrasted shots, there is like a thick line around the characters heads and subjects in focus against the background, leaving a red ghosting behind. It's quite bad I never seen these problems with any other tv normal LCD panel. I don't think I need an OLED to have a clean picture with no ghosting, this is a manufacturing error and the quality of the panel is not good enough considering the price.
I would like to actually file a case, what's the process?

@Dragos-Sky
I simply emailed customer services, and attached some photos I'd taken of the screen.... they phoned the next day, and a replacement was delivered the following day! Excellent customer service!
