Sky glass remote

Hello, I am chasing up a delivery of a new sky glass remote that was ordered on the 27th dec 2023

@Brondanem what does it say when you go to www.sky.com/ordertracking.

 

To be honest that sounds like a long time to be waiting for a Sky Glass delivery, so i wonder if perhaps the credit checks have failed and the order has been cancelled.

@Brondanem When I requested a new remote about a year ago I had to call them back 3 times before one actually arrived. You can now order one online and by all accounts they are quick to arrive

 

I would request a replacement at the following link: Streaming TV replacement remote 

 

If you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement.

I ordered a replacement remote via the link on sky web on 31st dec - I received a text and email the same day confirming and received the remote on the 3rd Jan

I'm hoping for the same speedy response but it's still not really acceptable ... Now have a huge TV ornament to look at and can't use the sky service I'm still paying for or the streaming services I pay for besides.

Sky products are costing more and more yet are made from crayon and egg shells.

I think I'll be seeing out this contract then leaving for ANYTHING else

@Colly7 I hope your replacement remote arrives soon.  If by any chance you have an old Sky Q remote sitting about that will work until your replacement arrives.

Unfortunately that went back not long after the glass arrived. I now can't watch anything except channels the TV decides I've pronounced correctly and nothing from any streaming platform ... Wonder will sky foot the bill for those? 🤔

@Colly7 Yes, the voice recognition certainly doesn't work all the time.  I just asked mine to find "Trigger Point" and it came up with "set the alarm for 8 o'clock".  🤷‍♂️ 🤣
