We recently added sky glass air . Connected via ethernet cable directly from router. Tv performance is slow glitches when loading shows and sometimes stops watching TV.
Called sky who said it should not have been sold to us as they cannot guarantee internet speed high enough (full fibre) where we live.
I have a open complaint and trying to see ideas to improve speed. As this is now our only TV we are stuck.

Hi @Mbzbkb The absolute minimum speeds recommended by Sky are as follows:
HD = 25mbps
UHD = 30mbps
HD + 1 puck = 30mbps
UHD + 1 puck = 35mbps
These speeds assume there is nothing else using up your bandwidth.

That's surprising. Glass works with a minimum broadband speed of 25Mbps,. I doubt your full fibre service can't provide that.

Re: Sky glass poor performance
What is your current line speed? You can connect your glass air directly to your router with ethernet to get a stable connection. You can do this straight from your tv to your router or if location is an issue get a set of inexpensive powerline adapters that will utilise your main s electric ring to hard wire your tv your router. Little setup required

Because the majority of cases it is just that. Not internet speeds per se but the strength and stability of the local WiFi network.

Correct that right on the borderline of the minimum requiremen, and that speed would fluctuate and decrease if other devices are using the internet.
