Sky glass not working properly

Sky glass gen 2 problem with not accepting voice commands through the remote or myself speaking to it, says on screen to say hello sky etc but nothing happens, I have to scroll down with the remote,

Try putting TV in standby, then turning off at the socket for at least 30 seconds, then turn socket back on.

TV will reboot, will take a couple of minutes.

A complete power off often cures little niggles.....

Rather than a power socket reset, you can do a settings restart;

 

Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Stream Glass TV or puck will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete.

Different ways to get to the settings menu;
Hit the . . . button on your remote and select settings, use voice saying 'settings' or scroll down to the settings menu on the home menu.

In my experience, a power socket reset cures things a reset through settings doesn't.
